No super power in the world can break up Manipur: Ibobi

Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi has asserted that no super power on earth can "break up" Manipur.
He also cautioned that Government of India against granting any provision for the integration of all Naga inhabited areas and disturbing the territorial integrity of Manipur while making attempts to resolve the protracted Naga political issue.
It may be mentioned that the Government of India and National Socialist Council of Nagalim or the NSCN (IM) had signed a peace accord on August 3 .
Delivering his speech on the occasion of India's 69th Independence Day speech at the parade ground, 1 Manipur Rifles in Imphal, the Manipur Chief Minister said, "Forget about the Centre, no super power in the world can break up Manipur," He however assured that Manipur will welcome any settlement with NSCN (I-M) and also any plan for the development of Nagaland.
Stating that Manipur will not accept any plan to harm the State's interest, Ibobi offered possible help to the Government of India in arriving at a possible solution with NSCN (I-M) "but not at the cost of Manipur" .
Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh regretted that he was not consulted before signing the Naga Peace Accord and said none could transgress the territorial integrity of the state.
He also rubbished reports that he had been consulted before signing the accord between the Government of India and NSCN (IM) .
Commenting on the current progress of the State Government's efforts to draft an ILPS Bill, Ibobi appealed to the members of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) to cooperate with the State Government in finalizing the proposed Bill so that the same can be passed by the Manipur Assembly by the end of this month.
