Imphal, August 16 2015: Commemorating the courage and sacrifice of Pebam Chittaranjan Mangang, the Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) on Sunday celebrated the 11th Students' Martyrdom Day at Takhellambam Leikai Youth Club complex, Imphal under the theme 'To excel Right to Life' .

The commemorative function was attended by C Upendra, retired Judge; Khaidem Mani, Senior Advocate, High Court of Manipur; Kh Serajjudin, president, MSF and S Sanaton, president, TYC as chief guest, guest of honour, president and special guest respectively.

The gathering observed a minute silence in honour and remembrance of the courage shown by P Chittaranjan.

Floral tributes were also paid at the portrait of the deceased as a mark of respect.

Similar observations were held at Bishnupur and Jiribam today.
