RPF, MNPF condole

The proscribed RPF and MNPF have condoled the demise of PLA's Sgt Maj Myinlun alias Ngamminlun Kipgen s/o Yangkhopao Kipgen andTilam Kipgen of Bongbal Gammon village, Island Block, Kangpokpi district.
According to a press release jointly signed by RPF assistant publicity secretary Bangkim and MNPF assistant publicity secretary Thomas Numai, Sgt Maj Myinlun was killed in a gun battle fought between a combined team of PLA and MNPF and troops of 4 Assam Rifles at Sajik Tampak, Chandel district on November 15 where one AR personnel was also killed apart from injuring another.
Myinlun joined RPF on April 5, 2008 and after completion of basic military training, he was inducted into the PLA on October 27, 2008 .
Working with a combined force of PLA and MNPF, he fought a number of battles valiantly against adversary forces.
He was gentle, sincere, well disciplined and always cherished the idea of freedom.
He was one revolutionary cadre who worked for a united Manipur where there is no distinction between hill people and plain people.
Condolence services have been held at all units, departments and stations of RPF and MNPF in honour of the departed soul, it conveyed.
The two outfits further conveyed solidarity to the bereaved family, friends and relatives.
