Ramakrishna Mission Imphal reaches out to IDPs

In continuation of distress and winter relief work for the Internally Displaced persons living in relief camps, the Ramakrishna Mission Imphal, distributed food ration, infant milk, Mother's Horlicks, milk powder, health and hygiene kits, fleece blankets, socks, towels, bed sheets, rechargeable torches, stationery and sports items, etc to four relief camps on October 1 last.

The Ramakrishna Mission Imphal in a press release informed that a bicycle was presented to a student at Santhong Awang Relief Camp and 16 pairs of shoes were also provided to students staying at Mangolganbi College Relief camp as a part of the Ramakrishna Mission's educational support initiatives for the displaced students.
It may be noted that relief items worth Rs 3 lakhs were distributed to four relief camps set up at Thangjing Sindam Shanglen; Terakhongsangbi; Santhong Makha Leikai and Santhong Awang Leikai in Bishnupur district benefiting more than 1000 people from affected families.
