Sagaing CM assures free way

State's Act East Policy convener RK Shivachandra along with Myanmar's Meetei community leaders met Chief Minister of Sagaing State Dr Myint Naing at its capital Monywa.
Conveying wishes from thje Chief Minister of Manipur, the State delegates invited Sagaing State CM to the upcoming Sangai Festival.
The Sagaing CM assured to issue permit to all vehicles passing through Sangaing State.
Dr Myint Naing also said that the Act East Policy will be more enhanced when Manipur and Sagaing State link up each other.
He further stressed the need to extend cooperation to each other on various issues.
The Sagaing Chief Minister also hailed the assurance of Manipur CM N Biren during the inaugural session of International Conference at Yangon recently that the Government of Manipur is planning to construct guest houses for Buddhist pilgrims from Myanmar in the State and setting up of Buddhist religious teaching institutions in collaboration with Nalanda University.
Dr Myint Naing conveyed his willingness to construct a Manipuri guest house near Kalewa Airport and a guest house for Indians travelling via land route.
During the 30 minutes long interaction, Act East Policy convener RK Shivachandra said that the Manipur Govt will give health sector a priority among other issues in its dealing with Sagaing.
After the meeting, the Sagaing CM, through RK Shivachandra, conveyed greetings to the CM of Manipur and extended an invitation to him to pay a visit to the State capital Monywa .
