Ukhrul, March 01 2015: The triennial youth conference of Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) was held in a distinctive manner based on Tangkhul tradition and culture at Wunghon Baptist Church, reports Mungchan Zimik.

The conference, which was held under the theme, 'Fire' signifying spiritual awakening, aimed at strengthening Tangkhul youth in various capacities especially on spiritual growth and religious missionary activities.

Rev Yarngam Muivah, executive secretary TBCA delivered theme exposition.

Over 1500 youth delegates from 50 Churches attended the four-day triennial youth conference.

Talent display, folk dance competition, piano and guitar performances and folk song competition marked the second and third day of the conference.

While religious leaders like MBC youth department secretary Rev Mathotmi Vasha spoke on the topic, 'Consuming fire', the youth were also enlightened on the topics like 'Filling of the Holy Spirit and Witnessing' by Rev Dr Jolly Rimai, secretary mission department of CBCNEI.

The evening worship service and installation of TBCA youth executive was administered Rev Jonah M Solo.

Rev Joseph M Humpling pronounced the benediction prayer.
