Akangba Nachom awarded best film of the year

Imphal, April 23 2023: Akangba Nachom, directed by Inaocha Khundrakpam has been awarded the best Manipuri feature film of the year in the 11th Manipur Film Awards (MANIFA) 2023 .

Produced by Reshi Thokchom, the film also won the best direction and best actor in leading role awards among others.

Silheiba Ningthoujam won the Best Actor in leading role (male) award for Akangba Nachom and Ithoi Oinam won the Best Actor in Leading Role (female) for Nongmei Paiba Rapist film.

Jointly organised by THOUNA and Film Forum Manipur, the 11th Manipur Film Awards ceremony was held at the auditorium of Kakching Dramatic Union at Kakching Phousupat Leikai yesterday.
