Hajj pilgrims leave Imphal

Imphal, October 10 2011:
Hajj pilgrims of the state left Imphal for Mecca today, they were given gifts and presents and finally seen off from Imphal airport.
A leave-taking function of the Hajj pilgrims was held at the Imphal Airport complex organized by the Manipur State Hajj Committee and All Manipur Hujjaj Welfare Association today.
The function was attended by MLA Helaluddin, Attav Rehman, Adhyaksha, Thoubal Zila Pari-shad and Wahidur Rehman, Secretary, State Hajj Committee.
Speaking on the occasion Wahidur Rehman said that more than 200 persons are leaving for Hajj.
Today, altogether 177 Hajj pilgrims have left Imphal.
Another 29 Hajj Pilgrims will also be leaving Imphal on October 14 .
