CPI refutes report

Imphal, February 16 2012:
The Manipur State Council of Communist Party of India (CPI) has refuted the news report which appeared in some sections of the press that CM Okram Ibobi had sent a missive to the CPI asking the party to be a coalition partner in SPF-III .
Rebutting the report, Secretary of CPI Manipur State Council Dr M Nara clarified that no such instance of CM Ibobi writing to the CPI on the formation of next government in Manipur happens.
He further clarified that no talk has also been held with the CM regarding the formation of government.
