Youths motivated to join Army

Imphal, June 06, 2014: A Motivational lecture on various entry schemes available to a 12th class student was conducted by 41 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) at Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School in Ukhrul on 04 Jun 2014. According to a statement issued by PRO IGAR (S), this effort is part of the drive initiated to attract the Youth towards a career in the Armed Forces and to motivate them for the coming NDA entrance exam and also for the recruitment which is scheduled in the month of October.

Showing overwhelming response, a total of 342 students attended the lecture.

The Principal of the School appreciated the efforts by the Assam Rifles.

The Students were filled with enthusiasm and 76 of them registered themselves for the training program.
