DGP inspects oxygen plant works, lauds CCpur cops

Churachandpur, May 08 2021:
State's Director General of Police (DGP) LM Khaute on Saturday inspected the oxygen plant, which is being constructed near Churachandpur District Hospital so as to find out whether the plant could be completed within a time frame of 14 days.
Later, the police chief oversaw the preparations being made for opening of Covid Care Centre at Churachandpur Government College.
The district administration in association with the health department is planning to set up a Covid Care Centre at Gandhi Memorial High School and others on need basis.
The Covid care centres at the district hospital and Lanva are running in full capacity with many patients seeking treatment in the last couple of days.
In Churachandpur, about 52 people, including those in the first wave, have fallen prey to Covid-19 and there are about 208 active cases.
The toll in the second wave has reached six.
In another event, the DGP congratulated and rewarded CCP district police with cash on Saturday at the office chamber of the SP in recognition of the seizure of Heroin (1.335 Kg) on May 6 .
He further encouraged the district's police to continue the good work.
