Anouska 'second' from state to make it to RIMC

Mayanglambam Anouska has become the second girl from Manipur to be selected for enrolment in the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, a military institute set up under the ministry of defence.
Out of five female candidates from same number of zones shortlisted for admission to RIMC, Anouska got selected from the East Zone (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal) .
She scored 261.5 marks in the entrance exam.
Born to M Sunil of Kakching Wairi, Anouska, who is a student of Practicing Junior High School (DIET), Kakching appeared in the RIMC entrance examination conducted in December 2022 after preparing under the guidance of Y Rajendra.
It may be mentioned that Moirangthem Arnika Devi, daughter of 2 Assam Rifles Havildar Moirangthem Ibomcha, became the first girl from the North East to make it to the RIMC, Dehradun.
She studied at KM Blooming Higher'Secondary.
