Chandel road accident left 3 injured

Chandel, November 27 2014:
At least three women were injured when a tractor pulling trolley, in which they were travelling, fell into a gorge at Beru-Wangkhera road in Chandel district today.
The incident occurred at about 8:00 am in the morning near Beru village when the tractor pulling a trolley wherein 7-10 people who were going to the field for harvesting felt into a stream which is about 400-500m down below the road with a vertical slope.
The injured persons were identified as Bino Devi (50 yrs), Ps Ninghring 26 Yrs and Hl Thumshung aged 48 yrs.
Bino Devi had been referred to Thoubal hospital after giving first aid at CHC Sugnu while the other two injured were discharge after giving them the first aid.
According to one women who escaped unhurt, while narrating the episode to this correspondent at the site of the incident said that the incident occurred at about 8:00 am in the morning when driver of the tractor wherein she along with 7-10 people were sitting in the trolley attached to the tractor, going towards Beru Wangkhera village for harvesting of the paddy field, lost control of the vehicle and suddenly felt to the left side of the road.
She informed that the trolley was luckily stucked in a big tree after it went down about 40-50 ft from the road.
