Jiribam Police interact with public leaders

Jiribam, July 21 2018:
In connection with the opening of new Jiribam Police HQs at Jiribam, an interaction programme was held with public leaders, local self-Government representatives, Civil Society Organisations and distinguished persons on the various issues of Jiribam to re-enforce and promote public-police relationship for peace and tranquility in the district.
At the event, Superintendent of Police Jiribam Moirangthem Mubi expressed gratitude to all the invitees for attending the opening ceremony of District Police Headquarters.
Jiribam is like a mini India where different communities live together with good faith and mutual understanding, Mubi said.
He sought public co-operation in maintaining law and order in the district citing apprehension about the influx of illegal migrants in Jiribam.
Mubi also sought public opinion about possible ways to successfully counter and restrict the flows of illegal migrants.
The future of Jiribam rest upon the people who are the guardians of the land, he said.
Leaders who attended the interaction programme shared their opinions on various issues and appreciated the Superintendent of Police, Jiribam District and the entire district police for their service to the people.
