Saving the nation should be the priority not personal interest.
It is time for the people to sacrifice for the nation and for this purpose collective leadership is needed, said Leishemba Sanajaoba and added it is the people who have to make every effort.
Manipur already lost Brahmaputra valley and Kabaw valley and now many mothers have become restless in the State.
After Manipur was annexed in 1949, people lost everything including their brotherhood mindset.
Not a single shot was fired when Manipur merger agreement was signed in 1949, but bloodsheds occured in 1891 when Manipuris tried to save the nation, said the titular king while adding that only unity can turn Manipur into a developed and peaceful society.
