Giving a brief account of the stir so far, the JAC in a statement said that prior to the Assembly election in 2017, the BJP in its Vision Document had promised to implement the 7th Pay if voted to power.
The State Executive Committee of the BJP had also assured to implement the 7th Pay, it said and added that all these promises have been brought to nought.
The JAC once again reminded employees of the dos and don'ts while carrying out the stir.
The JAC asked all the employees to attend office on time and leave on time but desist from carrying out any official work.
All employees have also been urged not to destroy or damage any Government properties during the course of the agitation and not to spread rumours.
Essential service, active service including jail have been urged to respond positively when the JAC approach them to join the cease work strike.
