Disability assessment camp held at Noney

Noney, March 24 2023:
An assessment camp for persons with disabilities under UDID project for issuing unique disability identity card was held on Friday at Noney PHC in Noney district HQ.
The programme was organised by Social Welfare Department in collaboration with chief medical officer, Noney and assisted by Handicapped People Association, Noney district.
The camp held with the doctors and technicians from JNIMS Hospital, Imphal East included associate professor (psychiatry) Dr T Hemchand Singh, assistant professor ENT Dr Y Tomba Singh, assistant professor (ophthalmology) Dr Kamson Anthony, clinical psychologist (psychiatry) Dr L Devraj, senior resident (orthopaedics) Dr RK Seddharth, ophthalmic assistant Salim Khilj and audiometrist Anil Kumar Meitei.
The event was also assisted by doctors, nurses and other subordinate staff of Noney PHC.
In all, 151 persons with disabilities from different villag es under Noney district were screened in the camp.
CMO Dr Zianthuilung Kamei, TML/ Noney district social welfare officer Robinson and staff also attended the programme.
