ANBA triennial fellowship enters 2nd day

The ongoing first triennial fellowship of the Anal Naga Baptist Association hosted by Chakpikarong Baptist Church at Chakpikarong entered its second day today.
The fellowship is being participated by Baptist members affiliated to Anal Naga Baptist Association based in Guwahati, Shillong, Dimapur, Imphal and all over Chandel district.
The first day of the fellowship was marked by seminar on climatic change.
In his power point representation as the main resource person of the seminar in the first session, General Secretary of Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) Centre Church Rev Dr.W Konghar highlighted the ecological crisis we are presently facing due to harmful human activities.
He also reminded the participants about the decision adopted by the general assembly of MBC for safeguarding and protecting our environment and expressed hope that the participants would fully respect and endorse the same.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the seminar, Rev.Rd.
Joykumar, who is the former executive secretary and president of the Fellowship, conveyed optimism that the gathering would help in bring about changes in Anal society in the field of environmental education and spiritual growth of the individual and the churches affiliated to ANBA.
On the second day of the Fellowship today, group song competition by the choirs belonging to the group B category of Churches was held.
In all ten choir groups belonging to different Churches participated in the competition.
Host of public leaders, civil society leaders and dignitaries including MLA Nunghlung Victor came to witness the event.
Group song competition for A group category would be conducted on the third day of the Fellowship tomorrow.
