MHA's Security Advisor shot at

Imphal, November 27 2014:
Dr Changamayum Manoranjan (52), Advisor of Internal Security, Ministry of Home Affairs sustained injuries after he was hit by a bullet on his right arm fired by unidentified persons at his residence at Langol Game Village Type III under Lamphel Police Station, Imphal West on November 26 around 9 pm.
He was rushed to RIMS Hospital for treatment.
A large bone in his right arm was found fractured.
He was operated later today and is said to be out of danger.
Talking to this newspaper, Dr Manoranjan said that he was watering flowers in his farm located just nearby his residential quarter when a bullet fired from atop a hill hit his right arm.
He stated that the attack came as a surprise as there is no enmity between him and any other individual or organization.
Dr Manoranjan was supposed to inspect Imphal Tulihal Airport today as a security measure ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to the State on November 30 .
