Sanajaoba fought for human society with his writings

The 2nd Death Anniversary of Late Prof N Sanajaoba, popularly known as Oja Sanajaoba was observed at his last resting place at Khurai Lairik Yengbam Leikai with the paying of floral tributes as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
The function which was organized by the Oja Sanajaoba Memorial Trust (OSMT) was graced by Prof IS Khaidem, ex VC, MU and Prof N Rajmohan, President, OSMT as the Chief Guest and President respectively.
Dr Arambam Lokendro, ex Director, AVRC, MU, Prof Sairem Nilbir, ex Principal, DM College of Commerce and Prof N Joykumar, History Dept, MU were the Guest of Honours on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, IS Khaidem said that the students of the present generation have the habit of reading books in a haphazard manner.
They study the beginning part of a book and the concluding part, giving a miss to the main body of the book.
We should remember that the introduction and the conclusion of any book are seldom in tune with the body of the book.

Prof N Sanajoba was a writer and a scholar.
He digested every book he came across, reading between the lines of the whole book, as such all his books have had a solid impact on the society, he added.
Prof N Joykumar said that Oja n Sanajaoba was a kind of person who not only taught the students inside the four wall of a room, but also gave valuable teachings to the people of the Manipuri society on various aspects through his writings.
He was a revolutionary of a unique nature.
He fought for the human society with his writings.
Prof N Sanajaoba is the youngest revolutionary among others who worked for the cause of uplifting the culture, tradition and social and economic status of the Manipuri society.
The ideas and beliefs propagated by Oja Sanajaoba needs to be instilled in the minds of the present generation, said Dr Arambam Lokendro.
Prof Sairem Nilbir, on the occasion, also pointed that it is because of the great writings of Oja Sanajaoba that his soul still exist among us even if his body has ceased to exist.
His soul will be a guiding spirit to the present and future generations to come.
