KCP (MC) calls 36 hrs general strike

Condemning the killing of Irilbung Water Supply Chowkidar and his son by KCP (MTF) over a ransom amount of Rs 20 lakh, the KCP (MC) has called a 36-hour general strike in the whole state from 5 am of December 21 to 5 am of December 24 .
Announcing this in a press statement, KCP (MC) stated that the merciless killing of the father and son was an act of Pseudo Revolutionary.
They are using the name of KCP in carrying out their criminal activities and misguiding the ongoing freedom movement to the people.
KCP (MC) would have congratulated them if they have killed or punished the real culprits who are looting the public money.
However, killing of an innocent Chowkidar and son deserved to be condemned in the strongest manner, the statement said.
Sharing the pain and sorrow of the bereaved family members, KCP (MC) said that it will always stand against such inhuman act.
Appealing to the people of the state to support the proposed 36 hours general strike, the statement mentioned that the general strike will exempt medical services, medical emergencies, Fire Services, Water Supply, Ritual Service, Electricity, Education and Media.
The statement, however, advised students to wear full uniform and carry their identity cards and medical emergency to put a label on vehicle.
