Buntee shares his success mantra; Overcome fear of examination

Buntee Singh Konthoujam, who has cleared the Civil Service Examination, 2011, has pointed out that the fear of exam is the greatest enemy of a student and has appealed to all students, should get rid of this fear in order to succeed in the exams like the Civil Services.
He was speaking at a reception function hosted in his honour by staff and teachers of Herbert School at the school's complex at Changangei Airport road here today.
Buntee was a student of the Herbert School.
Speaking on the occasion, Buntee said that the main reason behind his success was because of the absence of fear for exam.
He was also inspired by the book 'Law of Success', he added.
Buntee recalled that his friends often told him that it is not possible to make through the Civil Service Examination in the first attempt.
However, defying all odds, he managed to come out successful in the IAS examination in the first attempt itself.
He also mentioned that he did not attend any coaching class, tuition and Mock exam in his preparation for the exam.
Dr K Nabachandra, Principal of Herbert School pointed out that most of the posts of administrative officers in the state Government departments are held by people from outside the state.
But of late, there have been a number of people from the state clearing the Civil Service Examinations.
This clearly indicates that the students of the state do not lack talents.
He also pointed out that a total of 13 students of Manipur passing the Civil Service Examination, 2011 is indeed a big achievement.
Their success will certainly help in developing the state by engaging them in the administration of the state.
The function was also attended by the parents of Buntee.
