India seeks CF details from Yangon with NSCN (K)

India has sought the details of the major ground rules of the ceasefire agreement recently inked between the Myanmar Government and NSCN (K), which is currently on ceasefire with the Government of India as well.
According to a reliable source, India sought the said details in a regional border meeting of the two neighbouring countries held at the headquarters of 57 Mountain Division of the Indian Army at Leimakhong yesterday.
High ranking military personnel of both the countries and officials from Home, Defence and External Affairs of the India Government attended the meeting.
3 Corps Commander Lt Gen Dalbir Singh led the Indian side.
On querying about the ceasefire agreement inked between the Myanmar Government and NSCN (K), the Myanmarese delegates said that they did not have much information about the agreement as it was signed with the civil Government.
The two countries agreed to exchange support and co-operation between the troops of two countries along the 386 kms long Indo-Myanmar border.
The meeting also deliberated on the possible measures not to repeat any such firing by Myanmar Army that injured an Indian citizen at Moreh town of India some time back.
It may be mentioned that Myanmar Government has declared ceasefire with different armed groups after the coming of the civil Covernment.
