2 dead, 3 hurt in air strikes at Indo-Myanmar border

Moreh, March 24 2023:
At-least two suspected cadres of People's Defence Force (PDF) have been killed and another two injured during an aerial strike carried out by Myanmarese military along the Indo-Myanmar border near BP number 81 on the Myanmar side on Friday.
The aerial attack carried out by military junta using fighter jets targeted a PDF camp located on Myanmar side of border pillar number 81 .
The attack occurred around 9:30 am Indian time.
The same place had been reportedly bombarded by the Myanmar military on Thursday too.
The effect of the attack could also be felt along the Indian side in Kwatha Khunou close to the said border pillar with panicky villagers appealing to the state government to intervene and ease the tension in the village.
Meanwhile, special commando unit team led by its SP has been deployed along the border area in B Bongjang village located near border pillar number 80.The Myanmar vehicle which brought one of the injured militants to Moreh is also left unattended along the road leading to B Bongjang from H Mongjang.
