Imphal, May 16 2011:
Kuki National Front (KNF) has condoled the 'tragic death of its revolutionary brother Pu Paokhomang alias Paomang Khongsai', who was the chief of KLO/KLA.
The bullet riddled body of Paokhomang alias Paomang Khongsai was recovered under a culvert along Imphal-Dimapur road near Kholep village under Sapermeina police station of Senapati district on May 8 last.
Condoling the death, general secretary of KNF Aaron Kipgen has described it as a 'great loss for the Kuki revolutionary movement and the Kuki society as a whole' .
Such inhuman conduct of killing a revolutionary leader like some stray animals is not at all acceptable to KNF and will be dealt with seriously, Aaron Kipgen said, adding that the act of killing is a threat to the Kuki revolutionary movement and could also weaken the pace of arm struggle for Kukiland.
He also appealed to all the organisations/individuals involved in the brutal killing to come out with an explanation to the public specifying why the death penalty has been awarded to the Kuki revolutionary leader without any warning.
