As an endeavour to promote quality education in Chandel district, Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (Anal Naga Students' Union) has resolved to tackle the menace of use of unfair means, proxy/impersonation of candidates in common examination from 2013 with all seriousness.
In a statement, the ALT president PS Monihring stated that due to rampant use of unfair means and other malpractices during some common exams, candidates have no seriousmindedness for their exams, which in turn hampers the education system in the district.
This trend among the students was found while a team of ALT executives led by its president had an interactions with students of eight private schools during the period from April 20 to May 5 wherein the leaders interacted with students of Class VIII, IX and X, according to the ALT statement.
It further urged all concerned students' unions, school authorities, parents and organisations, and intellects of Chandel district to join hands in its endeavour.
