Youth Development Centre Club kicks off poster campaign

Imphal, April 25 2021:
In a bid to sensitize people about preventive measures from the second wave of COVID-19, a poster campaign was kicked off at Keirao Bitra today.
The poster campaign spearheaded by Youth Development Centre Club (YDCC), Keirao Bitra was organised in association with Litan Makhong Youth Club, Irilbung Library Union and Keirao Khunou Youth Club.
The poster campaign inaugurated in the presence of Sagolsem Baleshwor Meetei, Member of Keirao Gram Panchayat; Puthem Ibomcha, president of YDCC and advisor to the club, Mutum Dhananjoy.

Speaking at the occasion, Puthem Ibomcha said that the poster campaign was launched with a larger objective to create awareness about the second wave of COVID-19 and ways to remain safe from the dreaded virus.
He also urged all not to take the virus likely and follow Covid appropriate behaviours and guidelines issued in this regard.
The campaign was carried out across Keirao Bitra and as a part of the campaign, the volunteers also sensitize the vendors and market-goers about Covid appropriate behaviours at Keirao Bitra Panthoibi Keithel near Irilbung bridge.
