Hill Leaders' Day & 'Meeyamgi Numit' held in districts

Kamjong, March 24 2023:
The District Hill Leaders' Day & 'Meeyamgi Numit' (People's Day) for Kamjong district was organised by the district administration at Thawai (T) village community hall, Phungyar sub division on Friday.
Kamjong DC Rangnamei Rang Peter, SP P Manjit, ADM Ningreingam Leisan, CEO David Kashung Nao and Thawai Village Authority secretary Kharaomi attended the programme as dais members.
Top civil and police officials and other district level officers (DLOs) of various departments also attended the event.
With hundreds of people in attendance, a total of 32 DLOs opened mobile stalls to cater to the various demands and address grievances of the public.
Among the most active stalls were the CMQ, ICDS, DSWO, District Horticulture & Soil Conservation, SDO office, DIO, etc.
DC Peter, on behalf of the District Horticulture & Soil Conservation Department, distributed 11 water pump sets including nine sprinkler pumps and two drip-irrigation pumps to select beneficiaries at the event.
Chief medical officer (CMQ) also catered to numerous health-related grievances of people who turned up.
KANGPOKPI: District administration Kangpokpi organised the District Hill Leaders' Day and 'Meeyamgi Numit' at Bungte Chiru community hall on Friday.
Kangpokpi DC Kengoo Zuringla inspected various stalls opened by the departments at the community hall as SDO T Opendro Singh ensured smooth conduct of the event and also guided the general public.
On the other hand, DLOs and the staff of various departments addressed que-ries/grievances of the public during the event wherein health related services were provided by a medical team led by CMO and cards related to various schemes distributed to the beneficiaries.
Benefits of schemes related to horticulture, agriculture, veterinary & animal husbandry departments and social welfare departments among others were also provided at the event.
PHERZAWL: District administration of Pherzawl organised District Hill Leaders' Day & 'Meeyamgi Numit' for the month of March at Pherzawl DC Camp Office on Friday.
Pherzawl SP A Ghaneshyam Sharma, ADC & programme coordinator Sachi, additional SP Lunzamung Tungnung; SDO (Tipaimukh/Vangai) I Dinesh Kumar Singh and other DLOs led by DC Haulianlal Guite attended the event.
Altogether, 500 plus ser-vices/benehts of different government schemes/benefits were delivered to beneficiaries.
The benefits delivered included registration for two Death & 23 Birth Certificates along with 131 free medical check-up under Medical Department, 57 dogs were vaccinated by Vety & AH and 12 ration cards issued under CAF&PD.
Education Department distributed 78 uniforms & 70 textbooks along with 10 white boards, six gasoline pump sets were distributed by Horticulture & Soil Conservation and also six bio-fertilizers by Agriculture.
Social Welfare distributed two MOAPs including submission of one form for new registration, three beneficiaries of PMMVY under ICDS and different certificates by Revenue Department (seven Domicile, eight Tribe, two Death Affidavit and 23 Birth Affidavit).
One Stop Centre (OSC) distributed 70 leaflets on 'Roles of OSC' as well as organised an awareness programme on 'Violence against Women & Mental Health'.
A total of 44 people registered for Forest Fire Alert System 3.0 under Forest Departments.
One Disability Certificate and some of other benefits/ services were handed over to the beneficiaries directly by the DC and the SP at the programme.
As part of the event, 17 stalls of different departments were opened.
KAKCHING: District administration of Kakching held 'Meeyamgi Numit' in respect of Kakching district from 10 am to 2 pm at the DC s Office Complex on Friday.
In all, 28 line departments opened their stalls for delivering public services and addressing public grievances during the day.
Altogether 136 grievances/applications were received and 43 people have attended.
District Social Welfare Office, Kakching issued and received as much as 66 application forms pertaining to MOAP, Disabilities, CMST, Care giver and Widow.
Medical Department provided five CMHT registrations and also issued one CMHT card.
Services provided by DSO (CAF&PD) included issuing of seven new ration cards, addition of five new members in ration card and deletion of one member from ration card.
Six registration for Birth and one registration for Death were recorded by MAHUD.
Revenue issued seven income certificates, three residential certificates and nine birth and death orders.
