Tribals are treated in step-motherly manner: PDA

The People's Democratic Alliance (PDA) has charged that O Ibobi Singh led State Government has meted out step-motherly treatment to the hill tribal people particularly the Nagas.
According to press release of the PDA, it is further said that a number of request has been made to withraw the State Security Forces and lifting of Cr PC 144 from Ukhrul but it has adamantly rejected the request.
Instead, the CM has called an all political parties meeting to discuss the implementation of ILP in Manipur.
It shows that the Congress led Manipur Government has biasness in dealing with situation of the hills and valley, it charged.
The PDA has decided not to take part in the said political parties meeting convened by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh on August 6, 2014, the release conveyed and added further added that the way the State Government is prioritizing the problem of the State is very unethical and condemnable.
However, PDA supports the implementation of ILP in the State of Manipur which has been the demand of the people of the State � both hills and the plain, it mentioned.
