2nd edition of 'Fame & Shame' awarded

The 2nd edition of the 'Fame and Shame' award initiated by the District Administration in collaboration with the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) for maintaining the SOPs at district headquarters, Senapati during this unlock 4, was given to AP Enterprises, a new mobile shop at Senapati Bazar owned by L Aro Enah.
The 'Best Reporter' award was given to Ng Patrick of Senapati Bazaar.
Speaking at the award distribution function, Th Kirankumar, DC, Senapati stated that the award was given as an acknowledgement for complying to the given SOPs in their shops, though the amount of cash might be small.
The district apex student body, SDSA are reportedly looking into which shops are doing best in complying with the SOPs.
General populace were informed to send in details for good practice and bad ones through given WhatsApp no.For shops not following SOPs, the DC asserted that the District Administration would force such shops to close down their shops for 5 working days as punitive measures.
The DC appealed the public to co-operate even in future in their joint effort to fight against the spread of Covid-19 in the district.
Officials of SDSA also mentioned that next week, some identified shops are expected to be closed down for not complying with the SOPs.
Cash of Rs 1,000 was awarded to the shop and the best reporter was awarded with Rs 500.The distribution was done in the presence of Adahrii Maheo, MCS, ADM, Senapati, Kha Lawrence, PO, DRDA, SDWA executives and SDSA executives.
