Scholarship for needy and deserving students

After the visit of Dr Kiran Bedi in Imphal, the first woman IPS of India, an excitement can be seen among the North East students to apply for scholarship.
Two days back Dr Kiran Bedi launched a special scholarship scheme for North East students named as "Aryans Super 50" for Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges.
More than 200 students registered themselves on first day after the launch.

Conveying this information, Dr Anshu Kataria Chairman of the Aryans Group of Colleges said that 50 meritorious students of North East will be selected by Dr Bedi who will be provided scholarships in various courses like BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BA, BCom, BEd, Nursing, Polytechnic etc.
at Aryans.
He added that the entire process of selection will continue till July 30 .
Dr Anshu Kataria further said that Aryans association with Kiran Bedi has entered 5th year.
The idea of "Super 50" was inspired by Dr Kiran Bedi last year when she visited Guwahati and Imphal for Aryans event.
He added that around 35-40 North East students are studying at Aryans in various courses.
They are performing well not only in academics but also in other extra-curricular activities.
Dr Kataria also told that the scholarship will be administered purely on merit cum means basis.
A part of the scholarship will be paid by Aryans, a part will be paid by a bank and the remaining part will be borne by the students and further mentioned that Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh-Patiala highway, near Chandigarh.
