Imphal, December 14 2015:
Some candidates who appeared in the written test held on December 12 for recruitment of 116staff nurses in RIMS have raised strong suspicion about leakage of questions.
Speaking to media persons at Keishampat here this evening, one Thiyam Sunita, speaking on behalf of a group of candidates, said that they came across three sets of sample question papers which contain 250 questions and answers this afternoon.
Altogether 150 questions were asked in the written test and time given for the test was two hours (1 pm to 3 pm) .

Some of the questions asked in the written test are quite similar to some of the questions and answers given in the three sets of sample question papers, Sunita said.
Some questions asked in the written test were put in the same sequence as given in the sample question papers.
The sample question papers were photostat copies of a computer print.
This has aroused a strong suspicion that the question papers got leaked, she said while urging the RIMS authority to investigate the matter.
Until the matter is investigated properly, the process of holding viva voce should be put on hold, she added.
Notably, out of 6300 candidates who appeared the written test, 365 candidates were short-listed for interview.
Even as a group of candidates gathered at Keishampat, a carton suspected to have been used for packing question papers was handed over to them by some unidentified persons today.
According to the words written inside the box in red ink, the question papers arrived at Imphal airport from Kolkata in an Indigo flight on December 8 and the questionpapers were kept at the airport for one day.
The question papers were taken from the airport to RIMS the next day where they were kept for four days.
Neither the question papers nor the answer keys were sealed.
Machines for evaluation of answer sheets reached RIMS in the morning of December 12 and this was written in the carton box.
On December 12, the question papers were unpacked in the presence of media persons.
