COVID-19 claims 4 more lives to take death toll to 184

COVID-19 claimed four more lives in the State during the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 184.According to a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, four COVID-19 positive persons died at Shija Hospital and RIMS.
The victims included a 65-year old woman from Imphal East, two men aged 49 and 71 from Imphal West and a 75-year old man from Thoubal.
During the last 24 hours, 150 civilians were tested positive for COVID-19 at JNIMS, RIMS, Imphal East, Raj Medicity, Hillside Hospital, Samaritan Hospital, Shija Hospital, Mothers Care, Jivan Hospital, Advance Hospital, RD Wing, Public Hospital, Ascent Diagnostics, Kangpokpi, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Churachandpur, Tamenglong, Noney, Kakching, Kamjong and Babina Diagnostics.
They belong to Imphal West (37), Imphal East (31), Thoubal (11), Kangpokpi (4), Bishnupur (19), Kakching (3), Senapati (2), Churachandpur (8), Tamenglong (28), Tengnoupal (3), Kamjong (3) and Chandel (1) .
None of them has any significant history of travelling outside the State.
On the other hand, 117 COVID-19 positive people were discharged during the last 24 hours from CAPF (10), home isolation (29), JNIMS (5), RIMS (7), CCC Lamboi Khongnangkhong (8), CCC UNACCO (14), Lanva (1), Kakching (10), Chandel (2), Thoubal (6), Lamding (4), RD Wing (14), Bishnupur (4) and Bal Bhavan (3) .
The cumulative figure of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 19241 (general population 16453, Central security personnel 2788) .
It includes 3597 active cases (general population 3285, Central security personnel 312) and 15460 discharged cases (general population 12988, Central security personnel 2472).The recovery rate as on Tuesday is 80.34 per cent.
