Zeliangrong orgs displease with DBC authority

Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF), All Zeliangrong Students’ Union (AZSU) and Zeliangrong Students’ Union Manipur (ZSUM) have jointly accused the Principal of Don Bosco College, Maram, and the warden of Josephine Girls Hostel of contriving with the perpetrators in the assault of Ringsanbou Newmai on July 28 who is currently struggling for life in the hospital.
It stated that nine students belonging to Zeliangrong community were beaten since the commission of Maram Don Bosco College namely Joshua Pamei (B.Com), Martin Gangmei (BA), Elvis Kamei, Witoubou (B.Com), James Chawang, W Philip, Ringsanbou Newmai (BA), and one student each from Tamei and Tamah village. The organizations have vowed to continue to pursue till justice is delivered. While appreciating the concern and sentiment of all organisations in expressing dissatisfaction and condemnation over the incident and in extending solidarity with the victim, it appealed not to publish any misleading information which might mislead the public.
