Young Forever
Angomcha Chingkhei Meitei *
So big my world was,
Dreamt always of discovering,
while at mom's lap.
So small it has become,
Ever since the youth visited,
Nowhere left, nowhere left.
Swimming under the scorching heat,
Shouting at the top of the Mountain,
Racing along the galloping wind,
Flying with the enchanted cloud,
Dancing in the cascading Rain,
What is left? What is left?
Oh! I don't want to sleep,
when I wake up,
I find loosing,
I don't want to see
myself one day older,
every morning, every morning.
