o Reflective study of Yoga Sutras and other texts to understand the causes of suffering
o One’s role in charting the path to better health, wellbeing and harmony within and without
o Fundamentals of Krishnamacharya tradition
o Various kramas (progression in practice) - Srishti, Shiksana, Shakti, Chikitsa and Adhyatmika
o Yogic model of self – Pancha maya and Tri gunas
o Yogic understanding of mind – Manas, Buddhi and Ahamkara
o Introduction to function of Asana and the course at Annamaya
o Understanding Heyam-Hetu-Hanam-Upayam as basis for personalization
o Learning to modify Asanas based on function
