Workshop on MOOCs concludes in NEHU
One week long workshop on MOOCs concluded at UGC, HRDC, in North Eastern Hill University, Shillong on 7th December, 2019. As many as 32 faculty members from various Colleges and Universities from North-East India participated in the programme.
The valedictory function was chaired by Prof. Rakesh Mohan, Director, UGC- HRDC, NEHU, who informed that the main objective of this Workshop is to sensitize the faculty members from universities and colleges about the advantages of e-learning and to encourage them towards planning, designing, developing, delivering and implementing the massive on line courses.
Highlighting the advantages of MOOCs, Prof Mohan said it allows free access and unrestricted participation and provides a platform for interactive forums to any course.
