Hey little love-bird,
Why you sittin' there all alone singin' a sad, sad song?
Come on here and sit beside me
While you wait for your prince du sang.
I have some Beethoven, Chopin, Stravinsky, Vivaldi and some Bach on my playlist.
They could drown away the agony of your wait
if you give a listen.
Leave Tagore for a while.
He will make your heart too soft.
Too romantic verses!
And throw away the flute lest spring comes too soon.
Save your song and the poor heart too!
Your love's on his way
and I am happy for you today.
My time has not come yet;
I'm still waiting for a nameless, faceless one
And I've been told she's on her way too
(O how lucky I am!)
Might turn out to be an ET or a spectral being or an ocean fairy, who can possibly know?
But I heard that she hates classical music and people who love it.
I reckon, I'll just sit down and drown away the boredom and agony of other people's wait.
So little love-bird, why don't you give a listen?
You see, my love hates Western Classical music.
