Trains in NE to get 'glass-top' coaches to boost tourism

Trains in the Northeast India will soon get vistadome coaches to ensure that passengers are able to enjoy the scenic beauty of this region. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has given a go-ahead to this plan of introducing vistadome coaches in trains that are running on specific routes, particularly the routes that boast of scenic beauty, of the Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway.
The objective of this plan is to boost tourism in the Northeast. NFR Public Relations Officer Pranav Jyoti Sharma, said that they have identified these areas because these stretches have a lot of greenery.
