Training for entrepreneurs of Manipur in Food Processing
Date : 10th to 15th October. 2022 :: College of Food Technology, Imphal
Central Agricultural University (CAU), Lamphelpat, Imphal is organising a skill development training programme in food processing at the College of Food Technology, Imphal, Mary Kom road, near Game Village, Lamphelpat, Imphal 795004.
The training programme is sponsored by the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Govt. of India. Brief information of the training programme is as follows:
Title of the training programme: Value Additions to Fruits, Vegetables, and Spices
Duration and Dates: 6 days (10th to 15th October. 2022)
Venue: College of Food Technology,
Mary Kom road, near Game Village,
Lamphelpat, Imphal 795004.
Targeted participants: Entrepreneurs, SHGs, NGOs, etc. who are involved in food processing & exporter as a business. Preference will be given to those who are registered under APEDA and those already having processing unit and started production.
Teaching Faculty: A team of CAU-COFTI Scientists & local Experts will conduct the theory, practical and demonstration of value added products from the locally grown fruits, vegetables and spices. Industry visits.
No. of seats: 30
Mode of selection: Participants from Manipur will be selected through applications submitted (online) and then telephonic interview.
Registration/ Training Fee: Free of cost
Training certificate: Course completion certificate will be given to the training participants
Session Lunch & Teas : It will be provided during the course
Transport & Accommodation; breakfast & dinner
It will not be provided (Participant has to arrange individually at their own cost)
