Training Program at Dimapur
NPCC organized a two day State Level Training Program on 20th & 21st Jan 2022 at Dimapur DCC office complex. A total of 110 delegates comprising of PCC officials and representatives from all 12 District Congress Committee (DCC) attended the training program.
Day 1 of Training Program was chaired by Shri W Akhum Yimkhiung, Vice President NPCC. In the inaugural session, welcome address was delivered by Shri Khriedi Theunuo, Working President NPCC while PCC President Shri K Therie delivered his presidential address that also covered the entire spectrum of state & centre politics and the diabolic policy of the regional parties in cahoots with BJP in Nagaland.
Before the beginning of another session, a special song was presented by noted young singer Miss Vivi Yepthomi. Resource persons for the training session were Lt Col BS Shekhawat (Retd) who spoke on INC Philosophy, Policies & Path and Capt GK Zhimomi spoke at length on Failures of the Modi Government through a well researched and compiled document brought out by AICC Research Department.

Day 2 of Training Program was chaired by Shri S Supongmeren Jamir, Vice President NPCC. The first topic was on Rejuvenating INC at Grassroots which was taken by Lt Col BS Shekhawat (Retd). This was followed by a talk on Organizational Structure of INC, Upcoming Organizational Elections & Membership Drive and Polling Booth Management by General Secretary NPCC I/c of Organsiation & Training, Capt GK Zhimomi.
The third resource person was Shri Alemjongshi Longkumer, Vice President NPCC who brought out his perspective as a former Administrative officer on Coordinating with Govt Agencies on Election Related Matters. The final topic was on Use of Social Media that was well covered by Shri X Chophika Sumi, President, NSUI Nagaland.
The two day training program successfully concluded with closing address delivered by Shri K Therie, President NPCC. Participation Certificate was later handed out to Delegates who registered on both days of training program.
