Too early to comment on re-signing cease-fire with NSCN (K): Pathak
Nagaland Post | Nongkrem (Meghalaya), Jun 23:
“We have no plans (re-signing the ceasefire agreement). Let’s give sometime for things to settle down and it is too early to comment on it,” chairman of the Ceasefire Monitoring Group, D.K. Pathak told journalists here at the Assam Rifles headquarters.
Pathak’s statement is significant following the recent appointment of Khango Konyak as the chairman of the NSCN (K) after the demise of former chief S.S. Khaplang on June 9.
