Title: Square one ?
Debina Sanasam *
Who am I to speak out?
Who am I to question?
That's right, I never have a voice
To do what I want
I never have a choice
To know how to live
Bits by bits I tried to find me
I tried to sculpt myself
I know I am not perfect
I write not of stars and flowers
I write not of love and infactuation
I write of the youth, a message
I write of loving oneself
Before loving others
I write of someone whose
Life everyone lives
I write of happy ending
Plagued by sad beginnings
I write of life lived
Decades before, deep at night
I had woken up to nightmares
Resting smoothly on my plight
A broken neck and a semi paralysed arm
Life started knitting its last yarn
I came back with a will much stronger
I came back with a dream much bigger
With all these, do you think I give a penny
About what others think?
