Time to give tourism a chance

The North East India Tourism Confederation (NEITC) today appealed to insurgent groups in the region to “give tourism a chance” by not harassing tourists who visit the “unexplored paradise” of the country.
The confederation, which was recently formed, comprises state-level associations of tourism stakeholders from the eight states. It was unveiled a day before the inauguration of the third International Tourism Mart, 2014, here.
