Three Nagas (GPRN/NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) stoned to death near Assam border

Tension at the Assam-Nagaland border surfaced once again when three persons were found murdered at Old Koro village (bordering Assam) under Wokha District by a group of non-local laborers this evening including a civilian.
According to official sources, the victims were identified as Capt. Mhabemo Jami of Yanmhon Old Village, Chumthungo Kikon of Yimpang village both from GPRN/NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) group and Thungchamo Humtsoe from Yanpha village (civilian).
The official sources said there was also another person who escaped with injuries. However another report mentioned that the three victims were all cadres of the GPRN/NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) and that they were stoned to death by Mias at Liphayan, Wokha. One person escaped.
