Thought
Moirangthem Minakshi Devi *
My mind hungers to create a story out of the ordinary,
My fingers thirst to materialize the immersive scenes.
Out of the frenetic day's monotony.
I love to spot a kindle of fire in the dark,
To write about the line where the shadow and the light integrate.
I don't wish to erase a drop of tear from my days,
It's like the black ink in my quill colouring the parchment.
I give freedom to the world in my mind,
To flourish on the pages,
A place where imagination isn't restrained and emotions speak.
Somehow what was lunacy to most but a sanctuary to me,
I printed my steps on the pages stealthily.
