The Un-Answered Question
Ronald Keisham *
What an eminent features you posses;
Your name like perfume poured out;
Yours eyes like doves, when stared overwhelms me;
Which appears like a dawn?
How right they are to adore you!
A lily of a vale you are;
Like a lily among the thorns you are;
Among the maiden, oh yes!
Your stature hails high;
Like a palm tree near the oasis!
I slept but my heart is awake;
When appears in dreams makes me bliss;
All beautiful you are, no fowls in you;
My love for you burns like a blazing fire;
But my dear am I not worthy for love
