The biting soul
P. K. Deb *
The tingling of a flexible heart continues
inside a dancing life on the modern bit
in spite of the presence of a biting soul,
yet more teeth are being added on the hint
of a noisy clock---attached to the divinity.
The keen discernment returns blissfully
with up- to- date sagacity and black magic,
a plain appears automatically under the table
and pockets welcome the seas and the oceans
leaving propriety unheard outside the door.
The shameless virtue still peeps for a while,
throws away its useless plumb- line
and joins in the blind man’s buff
to allow the lustre of wealth and resources
causing an eclipse on the rules and regulation.
The nature’s siren is on as a warning
to the unabated tingling, tickling and dancing
of a flexible heart and of a lunatic life,
the old Soul may opt for the last bite,
meanwhile, the teeth have lost their sharpness.
