Stout tree
What’s that dream all about?
You’ve got so strong a trunk
With branches heavy,
Fear me not; I am just a creeper;
People call me The Ivy of Hope.
I am looking at the stars
Thinking you’re so magnificent
To be one among their class;
You look so cool today.
Are you hurt? Don’t be so.
I am coming into your life
And I will hold you tight
Never to leave you till I die;
Together we can feel the pulse of heaven:
She is so passionate of the stars.
So, sweet tree don’t be so coy and cold.
I just love to see your blushing face
And you think I am that arrogant.
It isn’t so ‘cause I have dedicated my life
To you and nothing else
To remain entwined to you forever.
This is a promise even the Gods are jealous of
So I pray to them everyday
Not to take you away from me.
Don’t you feel the throbbing of my heart?
You are so strong and stout
It seems you can’t feel them.
Tree stand stout forever
You are the meaning of my life,
My life’s song and its eternal pulse,
So come while there is time.
It’s fleeting and let’s not them loose
For you are the lyric of my love
Written on this frail heart,
So love me and never leave me.
