The Sleeping Heart
Herojit Philem *
Fear no more to wake up
Like the dew, who fears the dawn;
Keeps slumbering on the lawn; but why?
Behold, friends have soared high
Dear, Sleeping Heart; remember,
Success begins above the firmament.
Nightmare frightens your sleep
Yet, the voice is not heard;
That calls to wake you up.
Rise! Say no more; heart is
But a crying child,
Longing for someone to care.
Be not the dog, who fears his master;
Even tiger becomes a dog if caged
Dream now not, be in living world
Free yourself from gloomy fatique;
Good Heaven promises best for you,
Sleep no more, listen to Heaven's talk.
